mapdango is an über map mashup that combines maps from the National Park Service with Google Maps and social media, including Wikipedia articles and Panoramio photos. mapdango also includes a "park cred" and badges to encourage social interaction.
The Henry Hudson 400 Map brings history and modern-day together in a rich map mashup that highlights Henry Hudson's legacy. Working with the Henry Hudson 400 foundation, Cartosoft integrated various types of data, including historical map overlays, voyages, Dutch origins in Manhattan, and information about water challenges facing low-lying metropolitan cities.
GIS jobs on a map. Who'd a thunk it? We did. We teamed up with The GIS Jobs Clearinghouse to develop a map mashup for their jobs listings.
One of our first mashups, the Metropolitan Planning Organizations map mashup was developed in conjunction with the Association of Metropolitan Planning Organizations (AMPO). This mashup includes boundaries for many of the MPOs in the country.
